Mr. Capalot (also known as Polo Capalot) is a Chicago Illinois rapper who gained fame after uploading tracks to YouTube. His first track was The Come Up and never Cared. He also made his SoundCloud debut on the official polo.g SoundCloud. Gang With Me became his first top-ranked single. It was later followed by the track Finer Thing. While in jail was he wrote his second song. The song became his first hit and it racked up thousands of YouTube views, which brought him to the forefront. Major record labels were beginning to take notice. Pop Out, featuring Lil Tjay and Lil Tjay, finally came out after the rapper had signed the Columbia Records distribution agreement. The single received millions of viewers on YouTube. Furthermore it landed 22nd position on Billboard Hot 100. Polo G gained fame on YouTube as well as other social media platforms like Instagram as well as Twitter.
